T he Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center is committed to the highest quality medical education and patient care.We offer a four-year residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology that supports up to 18 residents and consists of 4-week block rotations in AP/CP subspecialties. Most rotations take place at the University of Kansas Health System and the Kansas City VA Medical Center with rotations in Pediatric/ Molecular Pathology and Forensic Pathology at Children’s Mercy Hospital and the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Office, respectively. The Department also offers one-year fellow- ships in Cytopathology, Hematopathology and Surgical Pathology with most rotations occuring at the University of Kansas Health System.
