A report of a committee that written by British government at Tanah Melayu/Malaya

OBJECTIVE

To do a research based on Barnes Report (1950) and Fenn-Wu (1951)

To promote multi-racial community to live in harmony.

English and Malay medium schools;as complulsory subjects.

6 years of free education. With 15 students, mother-tongued to

be taught as the third language in school will be approved.

Chinese and Tamil not as part of national system in school.

To improve education ordinance: Limited enrollment to English medium

school. Slowly implement usage of English and

Malay . Slowly implement 3 languages in

Chinese and Tamil schools. Build vocational school .
