H O U S E H O L D N U O F E H R By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not
found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was
commended as having pleased God. 6 And without faith it is impossible to
please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists
and that he rewards those who seek him. 7 By faith Noah, being warned by
God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for
the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an
heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. – Hebrews 11:5-7

Polar Plunge - Sparta
We are looking to capitalise on work done throughout this year and further integrate our youth group into the church. As always, we look to the future with confidence that God is bringing something wonderful through His people all over the world. Glory to God for all He has done and for who He is. Please continue to pray for us. God bless you! How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things. Romans 10:15 How shall we preach unless we are sent? Thank you for your support. – Scott Tominey

SCOTLAND MISSIONS UPDATE BY SCOTT TOMINEY
On Tuesday of this past week Jimmy and Topher travelled to Nashville to meet up with Ammiel Diaz of Havana Cuba. Ammiel serves in the challenging position of the liaison between the government of Cuba and all Churches of Christ in the country, 14 of whom Central supports. Ammiel reports that faith and churches continue to grow in Cuba even in spite of the increasing hardships on the people are forced to endure. Four hour waiting lines for 10 liters of diesel fuel are common every day. Purchasing items such as milk and water are increasingly challenging for the average person especially on the eastern side of the island. Ammiel brings a great “THANK YOU!” from the 14 churches on that eastern side of the island that you help support every month. Your contribution to making disciples all over the world is having great affect! Please keep praying for the beautiful people of Cuba. MISSION TRIP INFO: After meeting with Ammiel, we are in the process of planning the July Mission trip to Cuba. The door is open, the harvest is ripe, and the work is ready! Look for more information very soon!
CUBA MISSIONS UPDATE BY TOPHER
Someone asked me just this week, "If you could make a 1 minute speech
to the entire world, what would you say?" They probably didn't expect
me to laugh in their face because they have no idea that I write one
minute speeches every weekday morning. Yet, the question does have
the desired affect as I now contemplate what is most important in my
life. Should I share about faith in Jesus, or family relationships? Perhaps
church, school, and work are the best and most practical speech topics?
Maybe even a sports metaphor about the deep meaning of cooperation
in this world is what everyone needs to hear? "If you could make a 1
minute speech to the entire world, what would you say?" As I contemplated
what was most important, my mind went straight to some of Jesus' last
words on the cross, which may be some of the most important of the Bible.
Our Lord & Savior said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." (Luke 23:34)
When I write my most important one minute speech, like Jesus I want my words to be filled with Love
and Forgiveness. What words are the most important to you? I encourage you today to spend a
moment considering what the most important words are that you could share with someone else, and
then write them into a one minute speech. You'll be glad you did. “Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.” – Proverbs 17:9
