FACULTYKevin Farmer, MD, is assistant professor in the division of sports medicine at University of Florida and a team physician. Dr. Farmer completed his residency at Johns Hopkins

University and fellowships at the Uribe, Hechtman, Zvijac Sports Medicine Institute and the University of Florida. He has written multiple book chapters and published articles.

Thomas Obermeyer, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon in Illinois, specializing in shoulder and elbow reconstruction and sports injuries. Dr. Obermeyer

received his medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed his residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. He went on to complete a fellowship in shoulder and elbow at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Obermeyer is also an award-winning researcher and published author.

Rick Papandrea, MD, specializes in upper extremity reconstruction and hand issues at his practice in Wisconsin. He has written numerous book chapters and papers and is a frequent

presenter. Dr. Papandrea completed his internship and residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He completed two upper extremity fellowships: at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and at the Mayo Clinic.

Scott Trenhaile, MD, practices at Rockford Orthopedic Associates. He is a faculty member at University of Illinois College of Medicine, Midwestern University and Rush University

Medical Center. Dr. Trenhaile completed his internship and residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center/Columbia University and his fellowship at Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center.
