At the 2nd BERG Awards for Education, 2015 we aim to identify and recognise the immense amount of work that is being done by Individuals & Institutions, big & small, across the length & breadth of India.

Being recognised at the BERG Awards for Education shines a spotlight on the high calibre work within education industry. Initiated by the Singapore-based Business Excellence & Research Group in 2014, the Awards are a unique initiative to recognise the very best in the sector and provide a platform to elevate the profile and brand presence of institutions.

It also aims to provide inspirational benchmarks to peer group. Based on a selection process that encompasses integrity, transparency, consistency and fairness, the aim is provide a global recognition and benchmark.

Private University Registered private universities in various states recognised by the respective authorities which may include UGC.

The BERG Education Awards 2015 will be finalised through a three-step process as follows:

Stage One(Awards Secretariat)

Based on internal research qualifying projects, Institutions and Individuals to be invited to participate

Institutions and individuals can self nominate

Submit online nomination form alongwith nomination fee of S$ 75

Stage Three(Awards Presentation)

Winners will have to sign up for the Publicity Programme Package

Awards to be presented at a Gala Awards Night in Singapore on October 9, 2015

Stage One(Awards Finalisation)

On receipt of nominations the entries will be initially scrutinised by the BERG Executive Team.

The initial list will then be sent for final jury by the BERG Executive Team and Advisory Board

Final list of winners across various categories to be notified

Judging Criteria

All qualifying individuals, institutions and project nominees will be judged based on a set of pre-defined criteria. This includes, but not limited to, Brand Value, Responsible Leadership, Overall Performance, Sustainable Practices and Social Engagement.

The Online Nomination Form should be followed up with the following documents for

consideration of your entry in the Judging Process. These must be sent by email to

[email protected] immediately on submission of the nomination submission.

600-700 word writeup about the nominated entry• • Profile of the institution / group / individual

• 4 different photographs of 300 DPI resolution

• Any other additional details to support the nomination

Publicity Programme Package

All entries will be considered only on acceptance of the Publicity Programme Package and need to complete all formalities in this regard. The package includes:

• 1 x Exclusive Trophy• 1 x Exclusive Wall Plaque• Write up & Feature in 2015 website• Write up & Feature in 2015 publication• Professional photo shoot / interview• Video interview to be telecast on Zee TV APAC• Combined congratulatory feature in all Media Partner publications• 2 x Invites to Awards Nite& Gala Dinner

Nominations selected for BERG Education Awards will have to sign up for the Publicity Programme Package and make the relevant payments in favour of Business Excellence & Research Group Pte Ltd, Singapore. The package varies based on whether you are an Institution or Individual. Only selected entries who sign up for the Publicity Programme Package will be entitled to the award presentation.

Winners in the Institutional Category will have to pay SGD 4,000 and Individuals will have to pay SGD 2,500 towards the Publicity Programme Package. All payments will have to be directly made to Business Excellence & Research Group Pte Ltd, Singapore, either through PayPal or Wire Transfer.


• All BERG Education Awards logos and all associated likenesses are the property of Business Excellence & Research Group Pte Ltd, Singapore. Logos are allowed only to be displayed (online, in print or in any other format) with the permission of Business Excellence & Research Group Pte Ltd, Singapore subject to the granting of a BERG Education Awards Logo License.

• Nominated companies and Entrants are expressly forbidden from using any BERG Education Awards logo. Logo Licenses are issued to Winner and Highly Commended companies only. Any other third party use must be agreed in writing by Business Excellence & Research Group Pte Ltd, Singapore.

• Business Excellence & Research Group Pte Ltd, Singapore reserves the right to withdraw permission to display any BERG Education Awards Logo License when it considers the display to be damaging to the BERG Awards brand.

• The logo must not be altered or changed in any way. Correct display guidelines:

Do not alter or add to the logo.• Do not use other typefaces in conjunction with the logo.• Do not combine with illustrations or graphics.• Do not change the colour of the logo.•

• Receiving Winner or Highly Commended award does not imply any endorsement of the product or service by Business Excellence & Research Group Pte Ltd, Singapore. Neither the BERG Education Awards (owned by Business Excellence & Research Group Pte Ltd, Singapore) nor any of its sponsors or judges will provide any written endorsement of the property/properties or company/companies beyond their qualification as an award winner.

• The qualification is based entirely on the entry presented to the judging panel. Persons or their appointed agents planning to purchase an award winning property should seek professional and legal advice before entering into an agreement to purchase. These awards in no way indemnify the buyer or the seller, or offer any form of guarantee. Business Excellence & Research Group Pte Ltd, Singapore and sponsors and judges of the BERG Education Awards will not enter into any correspondence concerning a winning company or property.

• The Judges will not enter into any correspondence regarding the awards beyond their issued statement.

• The Judges and the Organisers reserve the right to withdraw any Award if a project is not completed in accordance with the time frame of the eligibility criteria or if successful legal action is taken against a company which retroactively invalidates information given on their entry form.
