Abstract: In Xi Jinping's era, people have further developed the thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and have made new plans for the future development of our country. The ideological and social characteristics of the new era have put forward new requirements for our socialist education. Our educational undertakings also need to use the ideas of the new era to complete the educational work. Therefore, it is necessary for us to grasp the characteristics and laws of the new era and use new ideas to complete the education work, so as to cultivate all-round qualified personnel and promote the development of our socialist cause.

1. The Meaning of Educational Thought in the New Era After Comrade Xi Jinping became the leader of our country, he put forward a series of new

socialist thoughts. He gave a new explanation to the past socialist thoughts, such as the idea of building a well-off society in an all-round way. He put forward two goals for a hundred years. He put forward the concept of the Chinese Dream, and he also put forward the need to develop and improve socialist values and new development concepts. He also put forward the idea of vigorously developing network supervision. General Secretary Xi Jinping's expositions in various aspects have formed the thought of education in the new era, which embodies the direction of talent cultivation and education development in the new era. Only in strict accordance with the ideological guidelines laid down by General Secretary Xi, can we carry out education, embody the spiritual and civilized connotation of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and make the idea of education with Chinese characteristics truly serve our educational cause.

Although the idea of “education with Chinese characteristics” was put forward by Secretary-General Xi at the meeting, it has not risen to the status of socialist construction. With you, we must have a correct understanding of this idea and avoid the rigidity in the process of using it in education. Understanding the idea of “education with Chinese characteristics” requires us to proceed from various angles. Firstly, the idea of “education with Chinese characteristics” refers to Secretary-General Xi's exposition and narration of some special fields and his general policy on the work in different fields. Secondly, the idea still plays the role of traditional Chinese medicine in the educational concept of the new era and should be in the new era. At the same time, organize more red activities to let students learn about the history of the Party and the country, and understand the development history of their country. We should also remove some bad ideas for studying the correct theories in the past political education process. 3. Conclusion Under the leadership of Comrade Xi Jinping, the construction of our socialist cause has come to a

new era. But at present, there are still some problems in our work of educating people. Our ideological and political education work is not good enough to improve the ideological level of students and let them serve the goal of socialist construction. Therefore, in the new era, we need to
