Arizona Housing Coalition Speaking Up for Home and Hope Proud Home of the Arizona Veterans StandDown Alliance EDUCATE Housing and homeless services are constantly evolving with policy and industry changes. To meet these needs, the Arizona Housing Coalition provides education, training, and networking opportunities, in addition to our Annual Statewide Conference on Affordable Housing & Homelessness, and creating healthier communities by connecting and integrating development and health care into our homes and communities. Last year's annual conference sold out for the third consecutive year, with unique networking and learning opportunities for housing and homeless service professionals. ADVOCATE The Arizona Housing Coalition champions funding priorities focused on increased development of affordable housing and the aligning of resources which address homelessness and housing instability. With over 200 organizational members, and counting, we keep our members informed about important policy, regulatory changes, and bills at the state and national level. Through membership, your voice is amplified in our state capitol and beyond. Ensuring the issues of affordable housing and homelessness remain top of mind for our elected officials, we make regular visits to our elected officials at all levels from Congressional to state to local. Through building partnerships, the Arizona Housing Coalition works collaboratively to increase the supply of affordable homes, and build capacity among service providers. In addition to our commitment to the Arizona Partnership for Healthy Communities, we are the proud of the Arizona Veterans StandDown Alliance (AVSA), and convene working groups around issues like housing counseling, rural housing, and the low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) program. COLLABORATE The AVSA's annual Maricopa County StandDown attracts over 1,500 veterans each year, connecting veterans and their families to critical services needed to ensure health and housing stability.
