MOVIE TIME!!

We are going to watch the movie Inside Out, so we can learn more about what the emotions are and how people show emotions.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE EMOTION FROM THE MOVIE?Pick the picture of your favorite emotion and color it in. Write 2

sentences to describe that emotion.

I would use this smartboard presentation that I found in order to help teach the kids how to express their emotions more effectively. I would follow the lesson plan provided pretty closely in order to help discuss how we express the different emotions.

I think this supports UDL because it uses both lecture, discussion, viewing of a movie, and worksheet completion in order to get through the lesson. Students get to learn through different mediums, and everyone gets to participate equally in the lesson.
