CINDERELLaCharles Perraultill. by Anna Griot
Charles Perrault’s tale may be all too familiar but most of us have probably never seen Cinderella for who she really is: a mischievous, triumphant heroine,a far cry from the well-mannered, meek damsel that she is often depicted to be. By setting the tale against a glamorousNew York City skyline, Anna Griot modernizes the image of this misun-derstood heroine, revealing her to be full of joy and surprises as she breaks with convention.23 x 32.5 cm • 48 pages • 4 years+
Cendrillon entendit sonner
onze heures trois quarts :

TETRaODONLi Lamarreill. by Odile Santi
When the pufferfish Tetraodon blows bubbles, the other fish have a blast play-ing with them. But day in and day out, the same thing happens: they gobble up his bubbles and ignore him completely. Tired of being rejected, Tetraodon runs away. After a long hunt, his fish friends persuade him to join in their games. Tetraodon agrees, on one condition: he doesn’t want his bubbles to be gobbled up anymore!
Tetraodon is a powerful tale of exclusionand self-affirmation.

OH My BIRD!Isabelle Simler
Two sparrows are sitting on the same tree branch. Each wants the branch for himself alone.Hence begins a screaming match, during which they call each other a number of (bird) names. But every time a new species is cited, that bird ap-pears and takes a place on the branch until it finally breaks! When turned upside down,
Oh My Bird! tells another story. Or rather, the same story, but this time using the names of birds that evoke love rather than disaccord. In the middle of the book readers will rediscover the birds cited, depicted in a naturalistic fashion.Under the talented artistic vision of Isabelle Simler, these stories are graphi-cally rendered in a comic book riddled with humour and tenderness.23 x 32.5 cm • 144 pages • 4 years+

THE NEaNDERTHaL aND MEJérôme Coignard with Antoine Balzeauill. by Betty Bone
It was once commonly believed that the Neander-thal was at first thought to be a terrifying beast and then man’s direct evolutionary ancestor. Neither supposition proved true. The Neanderthal and Me takes readers on a palpitat-ing journey through the Stone Age as they get to know man’s evolutionary cousin. It also highlights the constantly evolving nature of scientific research, encouraging readers to foster their own curiosity and question seemingly proven facts and ideas.
Drawing upon wonderfully diverse images including works of art and illus-trations, this fascinating, content-rich documentary is both educational and this fascinating, content-rich documentary is both educational and this fascinating, content-rich documentaryhighly unexpected.17 x 24 cm • 80 pages • 10 years+

Or, si le soleil
