I used Adobe Premier Pro to edit my footage together. I was able to use a wide range of tools

that enabled me to make my video flow. I hadn’t used Premier Pro before starting Advanced

Portfolio but I had found the software easy to grasp. I was able to use tools such as the

rendering tool and the speed tool. The rendering tool allowed me to look at my footage so far

without it lagging. With the speed tool I was able to make my clips faster, enabling me to be

able to fit the footage in the right places. I was able to crop the footage that was too long or not

needed. Having learnt different techniques I noticed how I was continuously learning new skills

which enabled me to work effectively with Premier. By using Adobe Premier Pro I was able to

edit faster and improve my video along the way using different techniques and tools.

I used Photoshop to edit the for my magazine advert and Digipak. Having used this software

at Foundation Portfolio I was able to get the grasp of the software quick. Photoshop includes a

wide range of tools such as the magic wand tool, the patch toll and the clipping and cropping

tools. I used Photoshop to make my images lighter and more colourful in order for them to

stand out. This would in turn made my Digipak and Magazine poster more interesting for my

target audience to look at. After editing my images I placed them into InDesign where I created

my magazine advert and Digipak.

Adobe InDesign is another programme I am familiar with from having used it at Foundation

Portfolio. I used this software the most as I used it to create my music magazine for my

coursework. Having used InDesign I was familiar with the tools and how the programme

worked, this enabled me to get my work done faster and more efficiently. I imported pictured

that I had edited on Photoshop and placed them onto the document using place holders. I used InDesign to create my Digipak and magazine advert.
