Edith Nourse Rogers STEM Scholarship GI Bill beneficiaries: Are you currently training in a high demand STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) field? Learn how the Rogers STEM Scholarship may be able to provide additional benefits. Through the Rogers STEM Scholarship, Post-9/11 GI Bill® students who have exhausted or are about to exhaust their entitlement may be eligible for nine months (up to $30,000) of additional benefits. This scholarship can help GI Bill students join the STEM workforce, which is projected to grow by 8.8% from 2018-2028, compared to 5.0% growth in non-STEM occupations*. Through the Rogers STEM Scholarship, Post-9/11 GI Bill® students who

YOU MAY BE ELIGIBLE IF:You are a Veteran or Fry Scholar currently enrolled in a STEM undergraduate degree program and:

• Your current STEM undergraduate degree program requires at least 120 semester (or 180 quarter) credit hours

for completion.

• You have completed at least 60 semester (or 90 quarter) credit hours toward your degree.

• You have or will soon (within 180 days of application) exhaust your Post-9/11 GI Bill entitlement.

Or, you are a Veteran or Fry Scholar seeking a teaching certification and:

• You have earned a STEM postsecondary degree.

• You have been accepted or are enrolled in a teaching certification program.

• You have or will soon (within 180 days of application) exhaust your Post-9/11 GI Bill entitlement.

APPLY on VA.gov/education. Scholarships are awarded on a quarterly basis in January, March, July and October.

STEM occupations was $84k compared

to all occupations of $38k and non-

STEM occupations of $37k*.

Note: Graduate programs are not currently approved for

the Rogers STEM Scholarship. Priority for the Rogers STEM

Scholarship will be given to individuals who are entitled to

100% of Post-9/11 GI Bill Benefits and who require the most

credit hours. The Rogers STEM Scholarship may not be

transferred to dependents. Post-9/11 GI Bill academic year

caps still apply.
