By being given a chance to join an after school activity, the student is able to become more involved with the school. In addition, the teachers who lead the programs will be given a chance to get to know the students outside of the classroom, creating a stronger relationship with them.

Curriculum-Teaching-Learning-Assessment
Philosophy We believe that all school
curriculum's should be student centered, standards based and should reflect the student-as-worker concept.
The curriculum should allow the student to succeed not only at their current grade level, but to also allow them to have success at future levels

Culturally DiverseThrough the use of fostering a sense of community and
shared vision we will be able to break down the barriers in our multi-cultural society.
1. We will make sure culturally diverse students are identified early on, starting as early as elementary school.
2. We will help teachers become knowledgeable about other cultures.
3. We will promote parent involvement
4. We will take interest in the students outside of class, in order to better learn about their cultures.

Through the use of communication and building community we will be able to better prepare our students to be
contributors in our democratic society.
