(Note: Equivalencies are based on Crandall’s standards and guidelines.) It is a two-year, 60 cr. hrs., program. Six additional credit hours in Religious Stud- ies (Biblical content) course work are required if they have not already been completed within the first degree. Candidates who satisfy the minimum requirements will be assessed on the basis of professional suitability and academic preparation. Academic transcripts, as well as the other documentation submitted, will be reviewed as essential components of the selection process. Teaching-related experiences and those qualities likely to contribute to teaching success will also be reviewed. Prior to final acceptance, most candidates may be interviewed either in person or by telephone. Given the level of the competition for admission to the program, possession of minimum requirements does not guarantee a place in the B.Ed. program.
