Chris McDaniel is an award win-ning �lmmaker. His love of music and �lm have always been the back-bone of his creative endeavors. While producing the critically acclaimed‘Blood Into Wine’ featuring TOOL front-man, Maynard James Keenan, McDaniel knew he wanted to continue making music based �lms.

Robbie Robertson is a playwright, screenwriter and a graduate of the University of South Carolina and UCLA’s professional screen-writing program. Robertson was the recipient of the SC Arts Com-mission 2014 Media Screenwrit-ing Fellow and was the recipient of the 2018 Indie Grants.

George Wingard joined the Savannah River Archaeological Research Program (SRARP) sta� in 1993 with a B.A. in Humanities from the University of South Carolina. He is now the Program Coordinator and oversees the budgets, personnel and daily administration.

David Silverman is an award-win-ning writer/director with several short �lms under his belt. On TV, David is best known for his work on The Walking Dead, House of Cards and Atlanta. His �lm work includes The Founder, Selma, Anchorman 2 and The Leisure Seeker.

Grey Gower is the Founder and Lead Producer of the Lugus Film Collective, a short form �lm pro-duction and distribution comp-any devoted to the promotion of young �lmmakers in school and just out of school in their devel-opment as storytellers.

John Marcucci is an actor and writer, known for Longhand (2015), Incommunicado (2017) and Anima (2016).

J.R. Poli has been involved with the �lm and television industry for over �fteen years. He is a grad-uate from the Miami-Dade School of Film & Entertainment Technol-ogy. He began his career working on hit �lms such as Marley and Me, Miami Vice and Out of Time.

Julia Fulmer is a 17 year-old from South Carolina, who has always loved movies. She began making home videos when she was just a young girl. Then, at 13, her life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with T-Cell ALL. She now brings those experiences to storytelling & �lm.

EVENTS

The Cultural Arts Endeavor was created to help support artist. In the theme of supporting artist which is the foundation of the CAE, the CAE contacted and o�ered Katya the opportunity to create an oil painting with a guarantee of payment. The CAE asked that the MBIFF be the theme of the painting, other than that, the content was completely up to her, whatever she wanted to create. The CAE believes that art and inspiration must be original, from the soul, untamed and untethered. Therefore, the CAE places no guidelines on the artists creative outcome.She asked, “what would you like”? “Whatever you come up with”, was the response. The CAE guaranteed Katya a reserve which she will be paid. During the MBIFF 14 we will auction the original painting, if it brings more than the minimum reserve, that person will leave with the painting. If the reserve is not met, Katya will be paid the reserve and the MBIFF will acquire the art. 100% of what the painting brings at auction will go to Katya, the CAE retains no monies in the process. The CAE is always looking for individuals who champion the arts and would like to participate by supporting artist. Art is crucial to a culture and the soul!
