Educational Specifications 2020 Update Summary
September 2020
• “Educational Specifications” (Ed Specs) guide the design of new educational spaces and include requirements for minimum space sizes.
• FCS’ comprehensive Ed Specs meet or exceed the minimum requirements of the Georgia Department of Education.
• Per FCS Board Policy FD, Ed Specs must be reviewed periodically, but not less than every five years. Our last update was in 2015.
