The establishing shot highlights the video is shot in an urban environment. This shot also focus’ on the main character in the

video, a young girl who comes across as homeless. By having the city surrounding and in the background it could symbolise her

relationship to the city, possibly isolated and separate to reality.

There are several religious symbolism in shots in this video, for example:

This could link with Jesus on the crucifix. This could suggest that the character is representing Jesus which is interesting because the character is an outcast connecting to Jesus as he was seen as an outcast too.

I thought the decoration above the shops looked like the thorns on top of Jesus’ head before he dies. The public are shown as walking past not taking any notice of it, this could represent that people in society walk away from conviction, judgement and what is wrong.

Following from the religious connections, these shots suggest that the character is an ‘angel’ of God and is trying to get society now to notice the poverty and badness which has affected people and most just walk away from it.

The artist is shown once in this video giving money to the homeless girl. This shows the artist’s character as helpful and

caring, which helps him become attractive towards the audience.
