then my response to his threat to call the capitol police on me.

Dear Rep. Kestell:

Over one week ago I called your Madison office, your home office and your home leaving a request

to please call me regarding what is developing with Common Core. I mentioned that I had spoken

with a mutual friend of ours regarding this matter and for that reason I was reaching out to you. As

of today, over one week later, I have never received a return call to discuss this matter.

Rep. Kestell I have been told that you have problems with AB617 because the language waschanged in it and that it wasnt to your satisfaction. You have had several weeks to deal with that

issue but it appears that hasnt happened. Im saying all this out of respect for the position you hold

as chair of the Assembly Education Committee. Problem now is, we are out of time in waiting for

you to address this in some way.

Again out of respect for you and your position of Chair of the Assembly Educ. Committee I want you

to know that there are literally thousands of people in WI that are watching what you are and are

not doing in dealing with the Common Core issue. I and others are discuss ing this frequently.

Tomorrow, Sen. Olson will be holding a hearing on SB619. Given what we have seen we expect

more dithering will be attempted to stop SB619 and AB617. Because of this and because you andSen. Olson have had many months to deal with this I am informing you that we are going to bring

much greater public attention to this whole matter starting this week. If you dont want to be

smothered with phone calls and public awareness of your holding up AB617 then Im encouraging

you to take action yet TODAY by having your committee clerk post a date, time and place that you

have set for a new hearing on AB617 and getting it scheduled on the legislative docket. I need to

have a copy of that notification in my hands today yet or otherwise we will proceed with your

constituents being informed as to your refusing to do so.

If you continue to state that others are saying you cant act on AB617 for any reason that I will find
