Where hygiene requirements are at the forefront

Reactive resin fl ooring is resistant to fruit acids, alkalines, acids, oils, and fats. The seamless, sealed surface is com-pletely nonporous and can be extended up the walls to build a closed basin fl oor if required. This means that no fi ssures, dusting or holes can form, which in turn reduces the coloni-sation by microbes and bacteria.

Where it must look good

Floors, which remain undamaged after years of continual stress in hotels and catering establishments, are standard by Silikal. But also interesting is that there are many possibli-ties for the creativity with coloured fl ooring, using a combina-tion of pigments, silica sands and coloured fl akes: fl oors with granite-effect, with integrated company logo or differently coloured fl ooring areas, everything is possible.
