THE ELEMENT OF AN ECOSYSTEM

● An ecosystem is a comunity formed of a habitat, living things and the interaction between them.

● An ecosystem can be aquatic, terrestrial or mixed.

LIVING THINGS ADAPT TO THEIR ECOSYSTEM

● Living things in each ecosystem have certain characteristics, called adaptations which permit them to survive in that ecosystem.

ADAPTATIONS

Adaptations can be of they body or behaviour:

● Adaptions of the body are parts of the body that permit the realisation of a certain fuction.

● Adaptions of behaviour are actions.

PRODUCERS,CONSUMERS AND DECOMPOSERS

Depending on what they eat living things are:

● Producers:They make their own food.

● Consumers:They feed on other living things.

● Descomposers:They feed by descomposing the remains of other living things.
