‘Durham was key to securing my current position. I believe the MSc programme trained my ability to conduct insightful analysis, helping me to develop skills I currently use in my job as an analyst. In addition to precious technical knowledge, studying and living with selected and driven individuals from all over the world strengthened my self-confidence and enhanced my ambitious spirit. I believe this, ultimately, allowed me to stand out in the job market.’

Serafino CapoferriResearch Analyst - Steel Raw Materials CRU Analysis MSc Economics and Finance Graduate

‘The variety of teaching styles and module selection allowed me to widen my scope of study, and as such I have learnt and experienced more than I ever imagined possible.’

‘Durham has enabled me to gain a deeper understanding of real-world problems and go beyond the limited world of textbooks. Public Economics introduced me to a unique learning approach wherein scientific knowledge can be applied to tackle issues such as optimum taxation and the identification of feasible policy instruments. Now I intend to pursue my PhD around international trade as my studies provided me with valuable insights into how foreign economies and markets operate.’
