IES is somewhat comparable to Economie 1/2 as taught in Dutch high schools, whereas IBE is more like M&O

Macroeconomics: GDP, Government Budget, Exchange rate, Consumption, Inflation, Interest rate.

Microeconomics: Individual behaviour, Constrained Utility maximisation, Monopolies, Oligopolies, Cartels.
