Effective Government Relations
• Present clear, credible and compelling requests that meet both government and institution agendas.
• Engage with legislators and staff when you are not asking for something.
• Bring legislators and staff on campus
• Try to help agencies to achieve their missions.
• Develop multi-faceted relationships with government officials
