The world's biggest birdwatch

• The RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch is the world's biggest birdwatch. The 2003 event was held on 25-26 January with the Big Schools Birdwatch events running the week before and after this weekend. So far, over 300,000 participants have taken part, 75,000 via the RSPB website!

• Our bird records will help build up a detailed picture of how our common garden birds are doing. The RSPB are working on the results now and will publish them on their website in the last week of March.

• The RSPB said, “Many thanks for supporting this event.”
