EDUCATIONET A project for Ohio K12 Student

Overview

⦿ EducatioNet is born from the idea of making a new form of verified and approved content delivered to K12-Student in a simple and intuitive way

⦿ To make it, we decided to build an integrated platform to create and catalog educational resources.

⦿ The Wiki is the core of knowledge system

⦿ Nowadays the Wiki is based on MediaWiki

⦿ The next step will be the creation of an innovative and cognitive system based on IBM Watson

The Teacher App

⦿The Teacher App is a responsive web application created for the teachers

⦿The teachers can manage the user, the questions and the quizzes

⦿The teachers can monitor the progress of each student and propose mirate exercises

The Teacher App: Chat

⦿The Teacher App includes also a chat (the same chat used in Android App)

⦿The chat is written in Node.Js and using socket.io library.

⦿The chat uses a responsive view similar to the Teacher App.

The Back-End

⦿The Educationet Backend is a REpresentational State Transfer RESTful API written in PHP using Zend Framework 2.

⦿It uses OAuth2 protocol based on grant of a token to access to resources.

⦿Plan an extended integration with Watson (for example include the Q&A) with a strict partership with IBM.

⦿Add more functionality and complete the app’s ecosystem.
