As if torn directly from the pages of their diaries, Battlefront to Home front: The Warriors Diaries features a vet from different generations every week, telling the true, intimate inside story of their experience on the battlefront and the return home.

Join us as we “Thunder Across America” turning many a stereotype on its ear following diversely individual bikers on various journeys of “purpose” and ultimately through their own lives. Developed in conjunction with Conrad Ricketts.

• “Faces in the Fire” has been widely shown throughout the United Statesin community disaster recovery programs, educating, reassuring andencouraging community members on their road to recovery. It has beenused in innumerable community disaster recovery programs and hasbeen used to train thousands of disaster mental health workersthroughout the United States. It is recommended as a training video bythe U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in Training Manualfor Mental Health and Human Service Workers in Major Disasters (2nd ed.)(DHHS Publication No. ADM 90-538).

Plot SynopsisIn the wink of an eye, a split second, your life shatters, what you once knew is gone, everything has changed, what do you do… After the Disaster? This documentary takes a close-up look at the resiliency of the human spirit under duress, revealing our deepest fears, our true inner values and our spirit to overcome and rebuild.. This series documents the experiences of several different disaster survivors from diverse backgrounds and walks of life in the difficult and pivotal first year of recovery. Inter woven into the story we go back over twenty five years to the survivors of the Painted Cave Fire disaster in Santa Barbara. We see their experiences mirrored as they reflect how the disaster has profoundly effected their lives today.

–Clinical Consultant–Diane Meyers, R.N., P.H.N., M.S.N.

Preeminent expert in the field of traumatology and disaster recoveryDiane Myers has her Master's Degree in psychiatric nursing from Yale University. She is a licensed Public Health Nurse, PsychiatricMental Health Nurse, and Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist, and holds several advanced credentials in traumatology. She is in private practice as a psychotherapist, consultant, trainer, and author.She has over twenty-five years of experience in the field of trauma, disaster, and critical incident stress. She has provided psychological trauma intervention, clinical consultation and training in over thirty-six major disasters, including the Loma Prieta Earthquake, the East Bay Firestorm, the Los Angeles Fires and Civil Unrest, Hurricane Andrew, the Midwest Flood of 1993, the Northridge Earthquake in Los Angeles, the Oklahoma City Federal Building Bombing in 1995, the 1999 Alaska Airlines crash, the 2001 World Trade Center Terrorist Attack, and the crash of American Airlines Flight 587.She has been a consultant and trainer for the American Red Cross; the Federal Emergency Management Agency; the Center for MentalHealth Services; a wide range of federal agencies and states; police, fire, medical, nursing, human service, and disaster organizations; the military; and private industry. She serves as adjunct faculty at the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services Specialized Training Institute, teaching Psychology of Terrorism in the Criminal Justice and the Emergency Management Divisions. She is consultant to the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and was awarded their 2006 Honorary DistinguishedMember award for her course Into the Eye of the Storm: Essentials of Disaster Mental Health. She is on the faculty of the International Mass Fatalities Center, is Clinical Consultant for California’s Central Coast Critical Incident Stress Management team, and is a national volunteer with American Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Services.She is a contributing author of The Complete Workplace Violence Prevention Manual, which has become a standard for occupational violence prevention programs in the United States and Canada. She co-produced an award-winning video training tape for school personnel on Children and Trauma: the School's Response, andis the author of 3 books and over 50 publications and videotapes on intervention with trauma, disaster, critical incident stress, and terrorism. Her most current book is by Myers and Wee, Disaster Mental Health Services: A Primer for Practitioners (Taylor Francis, 2005).

Plot SynopsisSearching for Home: Coming Back from War explores the truth, the healing and the hope of veterans from all generations returning home from war. From World War II, Korea and Vietnam to the modern day conflicts, Searching for Home: Coming Back From War is an unflinching, emotionally involving, extremely personal look at veterans returning from war and their search for the “home” they left behind, physically, mentally and spiritually. A multi-generational documentary, Searching for Home honors all of the men and women that have left home, only to return to new and difficult challenges as profoundly-changed people.

Additional Note:

Approximately 25% of SFH is already shot. This footage was shot 3 years ago in preparation for the 25 minute teaser. This footage has become a valuable asset to the project. This footage documents the SFH subjects 3 years ago and providing chronological historical record. In the final film will revisit all the same subjects (plus many more) offering a compelling story that spans time. This aspect injects SFH with the dimension of time that will greatly add to the finished piece.
