• tuition (for all dual credit courses, including retakes);
• fees (including TSI administration fees); and
• required textbooks (to the extent those charges are not waived by the partner IHE).

3: P-16 Leadership Initiatives
The school district and the IHE should have a leadership TEAM that meets regularly to discuss
design and sustainability.

Deadline to submit Notice of Intent to Apply
Applicants of proposed new ECHS campuses are encouraged to submit a Notice of Intent to Apply online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2MZ5PGH.
Friday, December 18, 2015
APPLICATION DUE
Applications must be received at TEA no later than 5:00 p.m. on December 18, 2015, in order to be eligible for designation as an Early College High School for the 2016-2017 school year.
Spring 2016Notification of designation for
new ECHSs
Districts or charters submitting applications on behalf of a campus seeking new designation or designation for a campus in operation for less than three years will be notified of either selection or non-selection as a designated ECHS.

Reviewing and Scoring
• Each application reviewed by ECHS subject-matter experts
• New applicants – reviewed based on quality of proposed plan and evidence that campus is capable of implementing (follow-up if necessary)
• Renewal applicants – reviewed based on performance during previous year(s), including fidelity to ECHS model, as well as designation application (follow-up may be required)
• Application can only be evaluated based on information included in application – include all necessary and relevant info
