MY Journey into ECE Was Also a Journey of Self-Discovery!

I have entered ECE later in life, with a Bachelor Degree in Social Work but still a lot

I didn’t understand about myself.

My personal interests are reflected in my scope of practice and the

nature of the provocations I design and present.

Through UNSTRUCTERED outdoor play and table-top “Busy Trays” rich in natural elements, children of all

ages can re-engage sensory, cognitive and social functions.

Through THE ARTS, children of all ages can go on a journey of self-

discovery.

Through my love of history, social justice and culture of all kinds, I

explore CONTEXT with children of all ages.

Some things NEVER change!

I look forward to attending Fanshawe College in September 2016 as an ECE Fast-Track

(weekend) student - and the opportunity a re-location to London Ontario can bring.
