variety of Views displayed on the View Bar,

depending on the EC User Group you want to

maintain.

from the View Bar.

Select the desired User from the List Applet and

click on the Make Admin User

arrow to convert into an Admin User.

Select the desired User from the List

If the User you are looking for does not appear on this list (remember to scroll all the way down first), you can create a new user by clicking on the “New” button under the “Admin

User”, “Account User”, or “Group View User” Views

You can determine the User Type of each EC User by looking at

the “Contact Type” column.

• M = Master User• A = Admin User• C = Account User/Group ID• P = Group View User

Once the Group ID and password are created, you

need to make a note of them so you can

distribute them to the group members.

Logging in for the first time with the Group IDLogging in for the first time with the Group ID

When Group View Users log in for the first time with the generic Group ID and password, they must click on the

EC Admin link on the Home Page of www.techdata.com.

That will take them to this welcome screen.

Click on the User Administration

link.
