1) Click on the Publications menu locatedat the top of any EBSCO database.
2) In the Browse Publicationsfield enter the journal title
to be set up and clickBrowse , or navigate using
the alphabet below.
3) Next to the titles youll seethe icon to create a journal
alert ( ). When you clickthat a window will a ear.

4) You may copy and paste the link below to add it to your RSS reader or click Sign In
to receive email alerts.
5) In order to set up an email alertyou need to sign in to My
EBSCOhost . If you do not yet havean account you may create one
from this page.
6) Enter your email address andclick Save Alert to have the
Journal Alert sent to you withthe default settings (expires
after 6 months). Click onAdvanced Settings to change
alert duration, format, etc.

7) In the Run Alert box, selecthow long you want to receive
alert notifications (i.e. sixmonths, one year, etc.).
9) Select whether you want theemail to be plain text or HTML ,
and if you want links to the Tableof Contents or links to individual
articles within the body of theemail.
8) Enter your emailaddress here.
10) Click Save to submit. You will receive email verification.

13) Under Search History/Alertsclick Retrieve Alerts .
12) Begin on the AdvancedSearch page (the default
page). Click on Search History ,beneath the search boxes.
11) Be sure you are signed into MyEBSCOhost using the User Name
and Password you created earlier.

14) This takes you to any Search Alerts youmay have saved (you may edit or delete those
from this page). In order to edit or deleteyour Journal Alerts, click on Journal Alerts
toward the bottom of the M Folder menu.
15) Once on the Journal Alerts page, check the box next to the alert(s) you wish to discard. Then click
Delete Items . A box will pop up asking if you are sureyou want to delete this alert. Click OK. Your JournalAlerts folder should now no longer show that alert.
