(also referred to as the Company) is a new commercial enterprise formed for the purpose of purchasing three struggling Jamba Juice franchises. The Company will be led by Mr. Jon Weegan, a restauranteur and industry professional who has over ten years of experience in restaurant management and in converting troubled restaurants and cafes into thriving operations. Blue Sky Foods will use an infusion of $500,000 in EB-5 capital from Mr. Bui Wong to renovate the three existing locations, implement new staff training, and invest in additional marketing to preserve the existing jobs at each location while also creating additional employment opportunities in the communities its businesses serve. Building on the successes made possible by EB-5 funding, the Company also plans to purchase franchise rights for additional Jamba Juice stores and further expand employment opportunities in Southern California. Juicing has become wildly popular in recent years, and strong consumer demand for raw juices and protein- packed smoothies will continue to drive the Companys growth. Blue Sky Foods operates as part of the $2.2 billion Juice and Smoothie Bars industry in the U.S., which is expected to grow at an average annual rate of 2.0% through 2019. The three communities served by the Companys stores are populated by young, affluent, and image-conscious consumers, fitting ideally into the core consumer market for Jamba Juices products. While Blue Sky Foods will continue to experience competition from other juice and smoothie franchises and independent stores, its well-established brand, the support of its parent company and the Companys demonstrated record of success in skillful operations management ensure the ongoing success of current and future stores. Blue Sky Foods is presently working to achieve numerous operational milestones that include continuing to increase annual sales, providing employment opportunities for the local community, and giving back to local schools and organizations. To improve upon each locations success in the market, the Company will invest in renovations to update and upgrade the space and will develop and deploy a new marketing campaign aimed at re-introducing the brand and the location to area residents.
