John Eaton worked for me as an Electrical Test Engineering Intern during the spring and summer of 2015. While under my supervision, his responsibilities included capturing schematics using multiple capture tools (Cadence HDL and Designworks Professional 5), designing, building and debugging printed and perforated circuit boards, writing and deploying Java and Visual Basic programs, updating documentation using a PDM tool called Windchill 10, and creating tutorials for use of all of the above tasks. John showed great electronics fundamental skills, as well as great software development skills that were sharpened while working at Bose. I am particularly impressed with his diligent work ethic and his extremely high level of self-motivation and self-expectations. He is very passionate about learning and is not afraid to tackle challenging tasks. He is highly motivated and has a strong desire to see assigned tasks completed, even when extra work is required to do so. Interfacing with many people of different cultures and backgrounds was not a problem for John, and he did so in a kind and effective manner. The people he worked with continue to speak very highly of his ability and were please to interact with him. John has done an absolutely excellent job during his term at Bose and I would highly recommend him in a position in your organization. He will add a great deal of intelligence, experience, and passion to any group he is a part of. Please feel free to contact me if you would like any further information. Sincerely,
