Step 1) Start with a square sheet of paper. Fold the paper in

half horizontally. Crease it well and then unfold it.

Step 2) Fold the paper in half vertically. Crease it well and then

unfold it.

3 Step 3) Fold the corner of the paper

to the center. You’ll do this on each

of the 4 corners.

Step 4) Fold the top half of the model in half to the center.

Step 5) Fold the bottom half of the model in half to the center.

Step 6) Crease both these folds very well and then unfold them.

7 7 Step 7) Rotate the model 180° and repeat Step 6.

Step 8) Unfold the top and bottom triangles of paper.

Step 9) Fold the and left sides of the model to the center.

Part of this crease is already here which will make it a bit easier.

Step 10) Slowly pull the model open at

the tops. The creases here are already

made.

Step 11) When you pull the model open

it should take a shape that looks like this.

The creases are all already made so eve-

rything should fall into place.

Step 12) Fold the flap of paper down

along the intersection of the two trian-

gles. This will form the edge of the box.

Fold the top triangle of paper up a little

bit to fit into place at the bottom of the

box. 12

Now you have a completed box!

If you want to make a lid, you

can either use larger paper or

when you get to Step 3, just

don’t fold the corners all the way

into the center.
