The traditional rainbow is sunlight spread out into its spectrum of colors by water droplets. Fibonacci,
an Italian mathematician, introduced a sequence of numbers where the first number is 0, the second
is 1, and each subsequent number is a sum of the previous two numbers of the sequence. Fibonacci’s
Rainbow, complete with blanket stitching and curlicue fringe, presents a spectacular show of colors
without the addition of water.
