management education. India is now bright and shining;

the developments are clearly visible, and the whole world

has started observing us keenly in all areas of our key

growth indices. No doubt, the technological revolution has

made this possible. Furthermore, due to rapid

communication and technological advancements,

tremendous infrastructural developments are taking place

throughout the world, and Indians are contributing towards

this too, to a large extent. During this developmental

journey, we have crossed many challenges; the hardships

were overcome by our systematic planning, dedication,

hard work coupled with advanced technical support. For

this total development, the management of men, materials,

and power has a greater role to play, and this is due to the

quality management education which is provided by the

Indian educational system. Furthermore, many books,

journals, and other materials also play a major role for

ensuring a quality. I am very much sure that this News

Letter will fly high with additional inputs Students and

faculties, so that it reaches the entire management

community in all spheres. I am confident that the

contributors and the entire editorial team will make this

happen. Let us join together, let us plan, and let us all

III in association with MMA March 8th 2019. The Guest Lecture was organized by the Department of Management Studies, Easwari Engineering College, for the first year MBA students on the topic “Trends in Operation Managemet”.

The Guest for the sessio n was Mr. Abu Bakar Siddiqe A.G- Expert in the field of Operations and Trainer from MMA, addressed the students.

CONACT 3.0 March 12th 2019.

Conact is a National Level Fest for UG Grads. Conact 3.0 was successfully completed where the students from various institutions participated and won in different events conducted in it.

St. Joesph’s Engineering College won the overall trophy in Conact 3.0. Conact is a event organized and conducted by Students of Management Studies, Easwari Engineering College.

Mr. Gunasekaran, Chief Editor of News18 was the Chief Guest during the innaguration function who gave the students a valuable message he gained during his career.

Mr. Iniko Prabhakaran, Actor who has acted many films in tamil was the Chief guest during the Valedictory function, he gave away the prices to the winners of various events.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP CONCLAVE March 19th 2019. The Guest Lecture was organized by the Department of Management Studies, Easwari Engineering College, for the first year MBA students on the topic “Starting up a company”. The Guest for the session was the alumni entrepreneurs from the Department of Management Studies, addressed the students. The Speaker delivered the lecture along with the power point presentations covering

their buisness ideas.

BALLEBAAZ CRICKET TOURNAMENT -

WINNERS March 24th 2019.

The MBA Department 1st year cricket team participated and won the tournament in the Ballebaaz cricket tournament conducted by the Rotract Club of SRM Easwari Engineering College. Our Department student Mr. Jayakumar E was awarded as the Player of the Tournament for his consistent performance in batting as well as bowling

FACULTY DEVELOPMENT

WORKSHOP March 22nd -23rd 2019.

Our Department Faculties Dr. Madhan Rajan and Mr. Purushothaman participated in the Faculty development workshop conducted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

The workshop was conducted on the topic “MBA Programme in Waste Management and Social Entrepreneurship.

CAROM WINNERS March 2019. Our department students Mr. Yuvaraj and Mr. Vignesh S participated and won the carom competition conducted by the College on behalf of Sports Day/ College Day.

IPL AUCTION WINNER March 2019. Our department students Mr. Raghul, Mr. Sriram and Mr. Philip participated in the Imperasario 2k19 and won the competition conducted by the Meenakshi College of Engineering. And also Mr. Sriram and Mr. Suryaprakash were the runners up in Dumcy event.

PROJECT DAY March 27th 2019.

Project day was conducted for students from various departments in which our department students actively took part to showcase their talents.

CHIEF GUEST INTERVIEW March 2019. Our Chief guest Mr. Abu Bakar Siddiqe has shared the following strategies to Ms. Moganapriya of MBA Department.

His secret of success is to “Focus on customer needs and to work smart according to it”.

Our department students exhibited their projects and demonstrated to our Chairman, Principal and external faculties.
