2nd Annual Chesapeake Children's Book Festival
June 17. 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Authors of some of today's best children's books, live
music, working blacksmith, Make-a-Book, Habitat for Humanity, free refreshments,
and more! Register for summer reading online (www.tcfl.org) or at the event and
receive a voucher for a free book (while supplies last).
GSK Science in the Summer: The Science of Sports
June 20 and 21. 10:00 a.m.-noon for scientists entering grades 2-3. 2:00-4:00 p.m. for
scientists entering grades 4-6. Sponsored by Glaxo Smith Kline and the American
Association for the Advancement of Science. Directed by Kim Johnson. Online
