Draw a piece of fruit or tin of food.

Choose a piece of fruit or a tin of food and place it on a plain piece of paper.

Make a drawing, looking carefully at the shapes, colours, textures and

patterns.

*Sketch the main shape in pencil.

*If you have coloured pencils/pens, add colour.

*Add textures, patterns and details.

Outdoors

• Do some nature rubbings with wax crayons.

• Spend some quiet time watching for birds. How many different types

can you spot? What are they doing? You might like to draw a picture of

each one and find out its name.

• Make up your own quiz.

• Create your own jigsaw puzzle by doing a picture on a piece of card and

then drawing wiggly lines on it and cutting them out.

• Play card games that you know and invent a new one.

Music

• Make some shakers using insides of toilet rolls and lentils, peas or

barley. Make a cereal box guitar or drums from other recycled materials

at home. Use them to create your own symphony!

B) Practise Rhythm: - Using any music of your choice

• Move to the beat

• Plod to every 2 beats

• Jump once for every 4 beats

• Jog to every half beat

Also do this to clapping or tapping.

C) Copycat Rhythms: Do with another person

They clap/ tap a rhythm that you tap back and vice versa.
