The free Earth Day event will feature family friendly activities, such as a children’s petting zoo, a special unveiling of the Township’s rain garden, tours of the SEPTA Hybrid Bus, a milk jug igloo activity (made from 500 milk jugs!) as well as recycling demonstrations. Residents are also encouraged to bring unused electronic items, as E-Waste Experts will offer free collection and disposal of any electronics from 10am-1pm on the day of the event. Residents can safely dispose of computers, printers, fax machines, VCRs, stereos, cell phones, TVs, cameras and microwaves along with other electronic items
