The 2016 mini-grant opportunity will award up to $1,000 to
qualified organizations whose work in Colorado aligns
with the Early Childhood Colorado Partnership’s 2016
priority areas (as indicated in the table below):

Funding
• In April 2016 individual mini-grants of up to $1,000 each
(for a combined total of $15,000 awarded to all
recipients)
• All program activities are expected to occur in 2016
and future year funding is not anticipated at this time.
Community Learning Collaborative
• All mini-grantees will be required to
participate in the Community
Learning Collaborative, designed to
bring grantees with common priority
areas identified together to share
learnings and best practices, along
with areas of potential alignment.
• This Collaborative will include a bi-
monthly 1-2 hour webinar
connection, along with any desired
communication in between.

Award Selection Criteria
The review team will ensure statewide and cross-sector
inclusiveness of awardees, and the following criteria
will be used to select awardees:
• Completeness of application
• Degree to which the proposal clarifies its alignment
with at least one of the Early Childhood Colorado
Partnership’s four priority areas
• Degree to which the proposal describes how the
event or activity will build on currently existing
organization and community work
• Clarity of the project’s purpose and intended
outcome(s)
• Clarity regarding how the requested mini-grant will
be utilized
