Heat Wave of 1980 - Summer of 1980
Dust Bowl - Early 1930's
Hurricane Katrina - Aug. 29, 2005
Tri-State Tornado - March 18, 1925
• Lewis Glacier, North Cascades, Washington in 1992 after melting away in 1990, there is only scattered snowpatches and no glacier ice left.
• Melting of Glaciers causes a rise in the sea level.
• The rise changes the environment for example of eroding of mountains.
Mt. Hood Oregon August 1984
Mt. Hood Oregon late summer 2002

Notice the changes in the mountains minus the fact of the ice melting away.
Global warming has caused the Sea Level to change which is represented on this graph.
