Capitalist Democracy is a political, economic and social system that entails the arrangement of a market- based economy polity, free market and fiscal responsibility.

Capitalist Democracy is an economic system in which the means of production are privately owned and individuals are responsible for their own well being.

CHARACTERISTICS.- Private ownership of the means of production in Capitalism.- Free market system and competition in democratic

capitalism.- Government o not interfere in the market system.- Equality of rights irrespective of social or religious

background.- Majority rule and protection minority rights.- Rule of Law.

CAPITALIST DEMOCRACY.

- Through organization of electioneering campaign.- Debates, rallies, conferences ,congress, or convention.- Political manifestoes.- Political parties compete through the media. IMPORTANCE OF EMPLOYMENT IN ALLEVIATING POVERTY.- Promotes the standard of living.- Increases income generation.- Engages people in production of goods and services.- Creation of jobs for the unemployment.- Reduces crime in the society.

COMPETITION FOR POWERS AMONG POLITICAL PARTIES.

- Establishment of poverty alleviation programmes.- Establishment of responsible governance.- Provision adequate and quality health care.- Development of Agricultural sector.

FACTORS THAT PROMOTE GAUNTEED EMPLOYMENT.

Political Apathy is the refusal of citizens to take part in political activities of the state.

It is the indifference in the attitude of citizens towards political activities of the state.

FORMS/ TYPES/ EXAMPLES OF POLITICAL APATHY.-Refusal to register for election.-Refusal to vote during election.- Refusal to join any political party.- Refusal give public opinion on political issues.- Refusal to hold political office.
