Weekly Adventures (During Osprey

Centre opening only, every day of the week)

Moth Monday We’ll empty the moth trap at 10.30am, but if you can’t make it then, we’ll keep the moths to show you and release them at night. FREE with Osprey Centre entrance fee.

Terrific Tuesday A series of special events for you to drop into - fun for all the family together. See Special Events listings for more details. £1 per child in addition to Osprey Centre entrance fee.

Walking Wednesday Until 16 Aug 9.30am - 1pm

Join Alison, our Community Ranger, for a fascinating amble through the forest, with breathtaking views and wildlife wonders. Booking essential (01479 831476) RSPB Members £3; Non members £5; U16s Free. Twit-twoo Thursday

Get hands-on with owl pellet (indigestible fur and bones which the owls cough up) dissection in the Discovery Zone. Twit-too-tastic! FREE with Osprey Centre entrance fee. Fill-yer-tank Friday Discover what lurks beneath! Check out our tank, full of beasties from the dragonfly pond. Zoom in on diving beetles, damselfly and dragonfly larvae. FREE with Osprey Centre entrance fee. Wild weekends! Sweep-net Saturday and Sunday! Have about as much fun as it’s possible to have, with a sweep-net and a bug pot, catching crawling-critters & mini-monsters. How many beasties can you get in one sweep?
