Today is a very significant day for nmc healthcare. I am very pleased to report that we have announced our intention to list as a public company on the London Stock Exchange, in the United Kingdom.
The listing will mark the beginning of an exciting new phase in the development of nmc healthcare, allowing us to expand our facilities and take us closer to fulfilling our ambition of becoming a world leading medical services provider and hospitals operator.
I would like to take this opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to continuing to provide you with the best healthcare facilities and quality of service. Following the listing, we will continue to base our business and
hospital operations within the UAE and surrounding areas.
I would ask you to note that we will register our company in the UK as nmc health plc. However, this will not affect our business within the UAE in any way and we will continue to operate as nmc healthcare at our hospitals and other facilities.

Dr. Shalini Arya (M.B.B.S., M.D),Gynaecologist at NewMedical Centre SharjahpresentedRadioClinicshowonHumFM106.2on Saturday 10th and 17th March.This was1 hour live show where doctor spoke about“CervicalCancerScreening”and“DetectionandManagementofPolycysticOvarianDiseaseandInfertility”. The topics were carefully selectedconsidering the current health need of theregion.
Another topic of discussion was PolycysticOvarianDiseaseandInfertility.Itsknownthatatpresent 1 in 12 women is suffering from thesaid disease although this disease is not fatalhoweveritremainsthemaincauseofinfertility.The show was aired for 1 hours between 1pmand2pmwhere listenersacrosstheUAEcouldlistentothedoctorandalsoputforththeirquestionsbyeithercallingthestudioorsendingtextmessagesduringtheshow.

Iam indebtedtomyentire teamofCardiothoracic surgery /Cardiac Anesthesia- Dr.Kelkar / Perfusionist-Mr.Sherine/ ICU Nursing staff/ Cardiologist,Dr.Abbas,DrSandip,Dr.Murali and allieddepartments,andspeciallytoCardiacSurgeonsDr.DineshandDr.Pradeep,withoutwhosehelpandco-operationIcouldnothavereachedthismagicfigure.
MythanksareduetoPadmashriDr.BR.ShettyMD&CEOandDr.CR.ShettyGr.MD,forgivingmethisopportunityandhavebeentheguidingforce.
