Do you have any stuffed animals that you no
longer want? There is a bin near the preschool
wing for donating gently loved or new
stuffed animals. They will go to the Teddy
Bear Brigade, a ministry of Gleaning for the World. The stuffed
animals should not be electrical, scary or
political. The bin is in the hallway
now ‘til Sunday night, June 8. Questions? Ask Susan
Neiss.

the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and
broad is the road that leads to
destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is
the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a
few find it.” (NIV)

Say “Amen.”
A 6-year-old boy accompanied his parents to a church conference. After listening to the speaker for a short time, the boy began to fidget in his seat. To
ease his restlessness his mother gave him a notepad and pencil. She suggested that he make a mark every time the speaker said the word “and.” After a
while, the boy grew bored and restless again. “Would you like to listen for a different word?” his mother asked.
“Yes,” he whispered. “I’d like to listen for ‘Amen.’”
