Bible Quiz

This book begins with the

words: “In the first book,

Theophilus, I wrote about all

that Jesus did and taught from

the beginning until the day

when he was taken up to

heaven …” (NRSV).

A. Hebrews

B. Titus

C. Acts

D. Ephesians

Say “Amen.”

A 6-year-old boy accompanied his parents to a church conference. After listening to the speaker for a short time, the boy began to fidget in his seat. To

ease his restlessness his mother gave him a notepad and pencil. She suggested that he make a mark every time the speaker said the word “and.” After a

while, the boy grew bored and restless again. “Would you like to listen for a different word?” his mother asked.

“Yes,” he whispered. “I’d like to listen for ‘Amen.’”
