COMMISSIONER’S NOTE:

The ULB had taken much intense effort to overcome the ODF and it was

a great honor to receive a certificate on “SWATCH BHARAT” .

In recent times due to demonetization of currency, people had faced a lot

of problems ,we had organized several awareness programs in the ULB regarding

cashless transactions .

Training program on online birth and death registration was held in

Kavali municipality on 2nd December 2016 to bring awareness among people

and to establish online interface between functionary and people.

We had proposed to develop Landscape work at tummalapenta

road near ambedkar statue such that greenery spreads along the drain

which outfalls at papireddy cheruvu.

As per the instructions of State Government on flamingo

festival from December 27th to 29th to maintain ecofriendly

environment for the birds and society .we had conducted a rally at

trunk road to bring the awareness among the public as this would

be the particular time for the birds of different species from different

places may come and reside at pulicat lake

TRAINING ON ONLINE SANCTION OF BIRTH & DEATH CERTIFICATE. :

Training program on online birth and

death registration was held in Kavali

municipality on 2nd December 2016 to

bring awareness among people and

to establish online interface between

In regard to this the municipal

commissioner and chairperson had

addressed the gathering and

initiated all the employees to issue

certificates through online.

A new software named CRS had

been trained to the concerned

officials of Govt & private hospitals.

DEVELOPMENT OF PARK AT TUMMALAPENTA ROAD:

Kavali commissioner had proposed to develop Landscape work at

tummalapenta road near ambedkar statue during his field inspection on

construction of sewerage drains at tummalapenta area.

Commissioner had initiated Dy.E.E. , TPO,CMMU , to look forward regarding

the proposed works with immediate effect such that greenery spreads along

the drain which outfalls at papireddy cheruvu.

Preparatory action plan was made by CMMU for the park to be developed at

papireddy cheruvu. The plans & estimates for the Landscape works are done

TRAINNING PROGRAMME AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON CASHLESS

TRANSACTIONS

Training programed on cashless transactions

among employees and citizens was initiated by

state Government. As a part of that the Municipal

commissioner had initiated the employees to

collaborate with bankers and NGO’S to bring

awareness among people to overcome the

adverse situation on demonetization of currency.

Trainings program was scheduled on usage of

swiping machines.

AWARENESS ON FLEMIONGO FESTIVAL:

State Government had initiated to conduct flamingo festival from

December 27th to 29th to maintain ecofriendly environment to the

birds and society .in this regard

the commissioner ,Chair

Person, RDO and other officials

had conducted a rally at trunk

road to bring the awareness

among the public and to develop

tourism which leads to increase

in source of employment and

financial growth of the state . As

this would be the particular time

for the birds of different species from different places may come and

reside at pulicat lake located at sullurupeta and also at bhiminivari

palem, nelapattu during this course of period.
