New Herons Glen Gift Cards Available for the Restaurant and Pro Shop:
We are pleased to inform everyone that we have new Herons Glen Gift Cards available for purchase in the
Restaurant and Pro Shop. These new (more official looking) gift cards will replace the outdated paper
versions that you have seen in the past. They resemble the gift cards that you see at Publix, Walmart, etc.
They are available for purchase in increments of $5 and are a great gift idea for your friends and families.

The District has purchased a lift that is now on site. The installation will require us to makemodifications to the pool deck, which will necessitate removing a 4.5 foot by 4.5 foot section of theconcrete deck, installing new steel as required by the manufacturer, placing an anchor for the lift, andpouring new concrete, followed by installation of the pool lift. The pool lift is designed for self-operationand requires no responsibility for staff assistance.
The cutting of the concrete will take place sometime during the week of April 16th. We are attemptingto determine which day it will be to give Residents as much notice as possible. For safety reasons, onthe day of the cutting the shallow end of the pool will be closed along with a good portion of the pooldeck adjacent to the work, as well as the Spa. We regret any inconvenience.

NEWS FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER...
POOL LIFT
The Federal 2010 Standards of Accessible Design under the revisedregulations for the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 require theRecreation District to have an approved means of access to the swimmingpool by May 15, 2012. After extensive research, we determined that apermanent lift was the most effective way for the District to achievecompliance.
