The story of Model Engineering Consultants starts almost at the same time as the formation of UAE.Since that time our team grows and now we are the team of 58 engineers and architects and havecompleted over 600 projects in Dubai.

ABOUT MECABOUT US
Model Engineering Consultants was established in 1972. Theoriginal founder of this company, Mr. Shewaram Gajjriaobtained the license to practice architectural, engineering &MEP services consulting and obtained the license from a veryyoung and newly formed Dubai Municipality. With the initialgrowth of Dubai, the company grew and carried out projectsin residential and commercial spheres.
The changes in Dubai were both dynamic and dramatic andan appropriate change in leadership was needed to propel thecompany into the new millennium. Mr. Shewaram steppeddown from the position of the MD & CEO of the company andappointed Mr. Mohammed Ahmed and Mr. Ramesh Tolani asthe new partners of the re-branded Model EngineeringConsultants.
With the new management at helm since 1994, Modelwitnessed a decade of excellence and phenomenal growth.Over 250 projects were designed and brought to life. Thestaff strength also grew by more than 400% in the samedecade.
At present, we are a team of Architects and Engineerspursuing a clear vision of delivering projects that meet boththe needs of clients and fulfill the very essence of designsustainability. Having completed over 600 varied projectsacross all industries and across all Emirates of the UAE, weare one of the few design offices who understand dynamicsof project development in the region.
Model Engineering Consultants has actively designed andcompleted all types of projects such as: high rise towers,infrastructure planning, mixed used facilities,industrial/logistics, luxury homes, hotels, institution projectsand etc. For all our projects we depend on our in house teamof architects, MEP engineers, structural engineers, HVACdesigners, BIM specialists, 3D renderers and animators.Such in house strength, ensures expeditious and accurate,design to construction completion of all our projects.

MEC prevent accidents and causes of work-related ill health by managing the health and safetyrisks in the workplace by issuing the Health andSafety Policy, Manuals and supplementary orrevised guidelines from time to time on safetyrelated matters to old and new employees. Oncejoining MEC, employees are obligated to read thePolicy and Manuals and sign the pertinentdocumentation confirming receipt, conformanceand understanding of the policy whether it be newor revised.

The main idea of the Project Management is to organize a project team of people and coordinate their efforts in a commondirection to bring a project to successful completion.

SITE SUPERVISION
Even the best planned projects depend on thorough construction supervision, hence, we believe in the significance of theconsultant’s presence by providing full site construction supervision. Site Supervision means the general direction,coordination and oversight of the onsite work processes.
Our Site Supervision team has a comprehensive knowledge of all engineering disciplines and they are trained to reserve ourclients’ interests in terms of time, cost, quality, health and safety during all the project life cycle.
