• An organisation has registers for E-learning.• Staff has to enrolle in E learning modules.• Staff complete the E learning modules either at work or in their own time.
The E-LEARNING Framework
• Candidate has to complete assessments at the end of each E learning module.• If they get a question wrong they arereferred back to the same module.• If they get a question right they moveon to the next module.
A well designed E learning module requires the same computer knowledge that a person require to operate an ATM.
• Much less than other training techniques.
• Candidate can use any internet connectedcomputer to do E learning.• They can even work using dial up connection.• So they can do it at work, at home orin an internet café!
Cost-Benefit analysis involves following steps to calculate the exact ROI
•Gathering Assumptions and Baseline Data such as Life Span of Course, Total Number of Students , Student Learning Time , Reduction in Seat Time, Burdened Compensation for Instructor , Burdened Compensation for Student .
•Design and Development Costs Create Courseware, Train the Trainer
•Delivery Costs Number of ILT Sessions, Instructor Costs, Student Costs, Location Fees, Equipment Fees, Student Materials.
•Administration and Maintenance Costs Tracking, Technical Support, Updates to Content , Updates to Technology
• Less expensive than other forms of training.• Easier to schedule.• Easier for staff to complete.• Enabled us to keep better records.• And overall is a winner for us.
