E-Sagu is a tool for an IT based personalized agro-advisory system.
Sagu means cultivation in in telugu language.
It aims to improve farm productivity by delivering highquality personalized (farm-specific) agro- expert
advice in a timely manner to each farm at thefarmers door steps without the farmer asking aquestion.
Advice is provided on a regular basis (typically once ina week) on everything from sowing to harvesting,which reduces the cost of cultivation and increasesfarm productivity as well as quality of agro-commodities.
The e-sagu system offers a next-generation agro-advisory tool & supplements and integrates it intothe existing agricultural extension system.

Bhoomi project of online delivery of landrecords In Karnataka demonstrate thebenefits of making govt. records more openso that citizens are empowered to challengearbitrary action.
The dept. of revenue in Karnataka hascomputerized 20 million records of landownership of 6.7 million farmers in the state.
In the bhoomi project, a printed copy of the RTC(records of rights, tenancy & crops) adocument needed for many task such asobtaining bank loans giving proof ofownership etc, can be obtained online byproviding the name of the owner or plotnumber at computerized land record kiosks in
177 taluk offices.

KHAJANE is a major e-governance initiative of the
Karnataka state govt. It is a Govt.-to-Govt. (G2G)project, except for
service pensions and social security pensions,which have an interface with the citizens.
This project was implemented mainly to eliminatesystematic deficiencies in the manual treasurysystem and for the efficient management ofstate finances.
This is the only project where, from the time of
