DONrsquoT SHOOT THE ROOFBullet holes keep appearing in the covers over the pistol
and rifle shooting lines There is no excuse for holes in the covers as your trigger finger should be nowhere near the trigger until the firearm is pointed safely down range That round through the roof or worse the round that is discharged as the muzzle is just below the roof will land somewhere off the range Anyone seen creating a new hole will be summoned before the Board of Directors

chicken in the middle all set at 15 yards instead of the standard 125 and 10 yards respectively Using single-shot air pistols both shooters can take as many shots as they need to clear their three pigs and the first shooter to knock down the chicken after clearing their pigs wins the round Match winner is best out of three rounds Kind of like History Channels Top Shot final except you get a couple of chances to redeem yourself after a bad first round Combines all the marksmanship fundamentals and fun aspects of regular silhouette shooting with the elements of rapid reload and target acquisition and knowing your competitor is getting closer to that chicken faster than you are Everyone who has tried it so far thinks it is a lot of fun Come on up on the 2nd Tuesday evening and find out what youve been missing out on For more info contact the air pistol silhouette shoot chair listed in the bulletin

As many of you may remember we just recently fin-ished our mining operation and recovered many thousands of
pounds of lead Most of the recovered metal was lead shot which can be recycled and readily sold to shotgun reloaders This is a good thing
On the other hand one of our RSOrsquos reports that a member was pulling bullets from a berm that turned out to be armor piercing rounds If you didnrsquot know it before know it now This type of round is strictly forbid-
den on the EFampGA range My guess is that they were 3006 military ammo because it is available through a number of sources Now I am not partic-ularly worried about armor being shot up but they can easily strike a rock and start a fire If you are using ammunition that attracts a magnet leave it at home RSOs are authorized to test any ammunition that may be suspect with a magnet If it fails the test you will be asked to remove the ammo from the range im-mediatelyOur Standard target backs measure 24rdquo x 24rdquo An unknown individual(s) replaced a number of our backings with 24rdquo x 48rdquo backings This means that the frame gets shot up needlessly and that is a no no also I suspect that some of our members simply cannot read The only other explana-tion is that some members refuse to read the plainly stated rules on target placement We may have to start a new bulletin segment called ldquoGuess Who Ignored the Target Rules This Monthrdquo Then we can all laugh and see who doesnrsquot want to follow range rules Finally fifteen minutes of fameLast but not least we have scheduled the next first aid class for November 3rd Time will be from 0900 sharp to about 1300 hours Dr Osgood one of our members from Orange County ER who is also a SWAT medic is planning to assist Marshall Goddard with the training First Aid CPR and Trauma wounds will be covered If you need to get recertified this will be the only opportunity for the rest of the year through the club The Club will cover the cost for RSOs Regular members will be allowed to take the class on a space available basis Any RSO wishing to take the class needs to let me know as early as possible I will be sending an email out for those of you who donrsquot make a habit of acknowledging my long winded tomes

chicken in the middle all set at 15 yards instead of the standard 125 and 10 yards respectively Using single-shot air pistols both shooters can take as many shots as they need to clear their three pigs and the first shooter to knock down the chicken after clearing their pigs wins the round Match winner is best out of three rounds Kind of like History Channels Top Shot final except you get a couple of chances to redeem yourself after a bad first round Combines all the marksmanship fundamentals and fun aspects of regular silhouette shooting with the elements of rapid reload and target acquisition and knowing your competitor is getting closer to that chicken faster than you are Everyone who has tried it so far thinks it is a lot of fun Come on up on the 2nd Tuesday evening and find out what youve been missing out on For more info contact the air pistol silhouette shoot chair listed in the bulletin

r a n g e m a s t e r s O u n d O f f
As many of you may remember we just recently fin-ished our mining operation and recovered many thousands of
pounds of lead Most of the recovered metal was lead shot which can be recycled and readily sold to shotgun reloaders This is a good thing
On the other hand one of our RSOrsquos reports that a member was pulling bullets from a berm that turned out to be armor piercing rounds If you didnrsquot know it before know it now This type of round is strictly forbid-
den on the EFampGA range My guess is that they were 3006 military ammo because it is available through a number of sources Now I am not partic-ularly worried about armor being shot up but they can easily strike a rock and start a fire If you are using ammunition that attracts a magnet leave it at home RSOs are authorized to test any ammunition that may be suspect with a magnet If it fails the test you will be asked to remove the ammo from the range im-mediatelyOur Standard target backs measure 24rdquo x 24rdquo An unknown individual(s) replaced a number of our backings with 24rdquo x 48rdquo backings This means that the frame gets shot up needlessly and that is a no no also I suspect that some of our members simply cannot read The only other explana-tion is that some members refuse to read the plainly stated rules on target placement We may have to start a new bulletin segment called ldquoGuess Who Ignored the Target Rules This Monthrdquo Then we can all laugh and see who doesnrsquot want to follow range rules Finally fifteen minutes of fameLast but not least we have scheduled the next first aid class for November 3rd Time will be from 0900 sharp to about 1300 hours Dr Osgood one of our members from Orange County ER who is also a SWAT medic is planning to assist Marshall Goddard with the training First Aid CPR and Trauma wounds will be covered If you need to get recertified this will be the only opportunity for the rest of the year through the club The Club will cover the cost for RSOs Regular members will be allowed to take the class on a space available basis Any RSO wishing to take the class needs to let me know as early as possible I will be sending an email out for those of you who donrsquot make a habit of acknowledging my long winded tomes

pounds of lead Most of the recovered metal was lead shot which can be recycled and readily sold to shotgun reloaders This is a good thing

As many of you may remember we just recently fin-ished our mining operation and recovered many thousands of
pounds of lead Most of the recovered metal was lead shot which can be recycled and readily sold to shotgun reloaders This is a good thing
On the other hand one of our RSOrsquos reports that a member was pulling bullets from a berm that turned out to be armor piercing rounds If you didnrsquot know it before know it now This type of round is strictly forbid-
den on the EFampGA range My guess is that they were 3006 military ammo because it is available through a number of sources Now I am not partic-ularly worried about armor being shot up but they can easily strike a rock and start a fire If you are using ammunition that attracts a magnet leave it at home RSOs are authorized to test any ammunition that may be suspect with a magnet If it fails the test you will be asked to remove the ammo from the range im-mediatelyOur Standard target backs measure 24rdquo x 24rdquo An unknown individual(s) replaced a number of our backings with 24rdquo x 48rdquo backings This means that the frame gets shot up needlessly and that is a no no also I suspect that some of our members simply cannot read The only other explana-tion is that some members refuse to read the plainly stated rules on target placement We may have to start a new bulletin segment called ldquoGuess Who Ignored the Target Rules This Monthrdquo Then we can all laugh and see who doesnrsquot want to follow range rules Finally fifteen minutes of fameLast but not least we have scheduled the next first aid class for November 3rd Time will be from 0900 sharp to about 1300 hours Dr Osgood one of our members from Orange County ER who is also a SWAT medic is planning to assist Marshall Goddard with the training First Aid CPR and Trauma wounds will be covered If you need to get recertified this will be the only opportunity for the rest of the year through the club The Club will cover the cost for RSOs Regular members will be allowed to take the class on a space available basis Any RSO wishing to take the class needs to let me know as early as possible I will be sending an email out for those of you who donrsquot make a habit of acknowledging my long winded tomes

r a n g e m a s t e r s O u n d O f f
