Thank you for your prayers and patience as we have
navigated our way through the COVID-19 pandemic over

planning more gatherings together, so we wanted to

at Bloomfield Baptist Church.

SEPTEMBER
We are planning on resuming our other regular activities
(Wednesday nights, Young at Heart, etc.) in September. We
will provide more details on these activities in the coming
months.
The above schedule is our tentative plan for gathering at

Bloomfield Baptist Family: I am so thankful for the gathering opportunities we have had in recent weeks. As we continue to make plans for the future, I wanted to remind everyone of our plans for July and August. July: We plan to gather in the gym at 9:45 am for a large group Sunday School class and at 11:00 am for worship. Pastor Nick and I will be using this Sunday School time to teach a 4-week series: How to Pray, How to Listen to a Sermon, How to Study the Bible and How to Share the Gospel. Our nursery will resume in July. August: We plan to resume our normal Sunday morning schedule. We will gather in the sanctuary for worship at 8:30 am and 11:00 am and we will offer Sunday School classes for all ages at 9:45 am. As we look forward to these gathering opportunities, I want to mention a gathering we were unable to have because of COVID-19. As you all know, Pastor Matt Thompson and his family transitioned to a new ministry opportunity in late March. We had planned to have a reception for the Thompsons before they moved, but were unable to because of the pandemic. Since we were unable to have a reception, I am including the Thompsons’ new address and encouraging everyone to drop a note of thanks in the mail to show your appreciation for their ministry in Bloomfield. Please continue to pray for them as they get established in their new ministry opportunity at Grace Baptist Church in Somerset. Matt & Torey Thompson & family 221 Cummins Lane, Somerset, KY 42503 It is a joy to serve with you here at Bloomfield. Have a blessed week! Grace and Peace, Pastor Richard

We feel that the need for donors are great during this time, that is why we agreed to continue with this blood drive. Please schedule your appointments online at www.redcrossblood.org/give - Walk-ins welcomed.
INFORMATION FROM THE AMERICAN RED CROSS: The following extra precautions are being taken by the Red Cross for this to be a safe environment.
A Red Cross staff member will check each person’s temperature before they are allowed to enter the blood drive area.
They will also make sure that social distancing be enforced.
Important blood drive info regarding Coronavirus Antibody Testing! On June 15, the American Red Cross began testing all blood, platelet and
plasma donations for COVID-19 antibodies.
• The antibody test is authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and may indicate if the donor’s immune system has produced antibodies to the coronavirus, regardless of whether they developed symptoms. • The Red Cross hopes testing for COVID-19 antibodies will provide our valued donors insight into whether they may have been exposed to this coronavirus. • We recognize that individuals and public health organizations desire more information about COVID-19, and as an organization dedicated to helping others, the Red Cross is fortunate to be able to help during this pandemic. • Red Cross donors can expect to receive the results of their antibody test within 7 to 10 days through our Red Cross Blood Donor App or on our donor portal at Red-CrossBlood.org.
Please feel free to contact the Red Cross if you have additional questions!
